The bathroom at Old Codgers Cottage was great! It had 2 options – one bathroom equipped with a bath or shower, and another with just a shower. I personally loved the bath option as it was perfect for a relaxing soak after a long day exploring Windermere.
Personally, I didn't really like the shower in the second bathroom, but hey, that's just me. Others may still find it enjoyable.

My partner and I recently stayed at a charming cottage in the heart of town. The location couldn't have been more perfect, with shops, bars, and restaurants just steps away. Despite being in a bustling area, the cottage was situated on a peaceful and quiet street. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the cottage was equipped with everything we needed. One pleasant surprise was the updated interior, with new carpet and wallpaper, giving it a fresh and modern look. We also appreciated the parking permit for Zone A and the convenience of a nearby chippy. We cannot wait to return!
Couldn't recommend this hotel more.

The location of the cottage was fantastic, situated right in the heart of town but still in a quiet area. We were able to easily access all the shops, bars, and restaurants within a minute's walk. Additionally, it was only a short 20-minute walk down to Bowness-on-Windermere, making it a convenient spot to explore the lake. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the linens provided were of excellent quality.
One small issue was the difficulty in opening the key-safe. It took some force and even resulted in a broken thumb-nail for our helpful neighbor.
